Head Coach

We are looking for energetic, highly motivated individuals to lead our competitive teams.  This position is responsible for--

1. •Athlete selection and development
   

2. •Planning and leading practices
   

3. •Coaching at tournaments
   

4. •Sharing information with parents and fellow Excel coaches
   

5. •Recording tournament results
   

6. •Traveling to regional and national tournaments
   

7. •Active involvement in community activities involving the club.
   

At minimum, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. •5+ years head coach experience
   

2. •6+ years playing competitive volleyball
   

3. •Strong knowledge of the game including defense, offense and strategic planning
   

4. •Team player interested in learning and sharing coaching strategies and techniques
   

5. •Education and/or experience in athletic training and conditioning
   

6. •USA Volleyball IMPACT certified
   

7. •CAP I certified
   

8. •Pursuing or interest in pursuing CAP II certification.
