Welcome to the Excel Volleyball Club website! Excel offers competitive club volleyball

for female athletes from 6th through 10th grade. Our coaching staff is dedicated to

teaching advanced volleyball skills to each member of our club.

EXCEL HP Volleyball. . . . .

More than just a game....Are you up for it?

Excel is offering a new innovative “High Performance” Program. A year round volleyball

program that includes specialized conditioning, volleyball training and competition at local,

state and national level. A program that promotes personal and team growth by keeping

the same core of athletes together season after season until college. Check out our HP

Excel HP will conduct its selection camp soon. Stay tuned for more details. Our pre-season

training starts in August and places are limited!

Sand Volleyball

We are pleased to announce the grand opening of the Sand Volleyball Courts at the Russell Creek YMCA! With the generous donations of Benning Power Electronics, Xite Custom Homes and community members, the Russell Creek Sand Volleyball courts were refurbished. Thanks to all the volunteers that cleaned up the courts.

New Coaches!

Excel is please announced that Genevieve Messier and Mario Barbaresso are joining the Excel Coaching Team.

Genevieve comes to Excel with 10 years of competitive coaching experience.

Genevieve has recently lead 2 teams to the JOVC (2005 and 2006), her team

finishing 18th in the Nation in 2006.

Mario joins Excel with 5 years of coaching experience and more than 30 years of experience as a player. Mario’s experience includes four years of beach volleyball

and 6 years of National Senior AA level under the direction of an Olympic Division

coach.

Genevieve and Mario will be leading some new innovative clinics like “Good to Great All Around Player” and “FAST Factor”. We still have a few openings in our clinics. Come and join the fun!

Baby Hausner

Sherri and Chris Hausner are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Eryca Elizabeth Hausner. Eryca was born on Thursday, April 17th. She weighed 7lbs, 2 oz and was 19 in long. Coach Sherri and Eryca are both doing well.
