Drew Noah, Head Coach
Drew has been coaching competitive girl’s volleyball for the past 14 years. His passion for the game took off at Dallas Baptist University where he played on the men’s team from 2000-2003. He completed his bachelor’s degree at DBU in 2003 and met his wonderful wife there who played on the women’s team.
Drew is currently the head coach at Pantego Christian Academy where he is entering his 11th year with the school. At PCA, Drew leads the strength and conditioning program for the middle school and high school girls. The volleyball program is very special to him there as well as Christian Education. In 2011, Drew led the lady panthers to the final four in TAPPS 4A finishing third in the state.
In addition to TAPPS volleyball, Drew has assisted and head coached in the North Texas Region for 14 years teaching athletes between the ages of 12-17. This year will be his 5th year with EXCEL after having coached with Texas Image for 8 years prior. Drew will be coaching with his wife Kara again this year after coming off a great 2014 season with their 14’s. Drew and Kara had one of their most successful seasons ever this past year qualifying in the USA and National divisions for USAV Nationals. In 2010, Drew also led his 15’s team to the Junior Olympics and finished strong in the American division. Drew has also completed Impact, CAP 1, and VCAP certifications.
Drew and Kara are very excited about the upcoming season at EXCEL. Teaming up as a couple brings nearly 30 years of coaching experience to the court. They are ready to take the 14’s division at EXCEL and develop their athletes to be mentally and physically strong.
