Excel Volleyball

Excel’s International Program provides select athletes ages 14 through 17 an opportunity to train and compete internationally.  Excel is developing relationships with competitive clubs around the world.  We refer to these clubs as “Sister Clubs”.  Excel works with our Sister Clubs to create opportunities for both clubs to visit each other’s countries. 

Benefits

• Provide a lifetime of experience to athletes while developing an understand of each other’s culture,
• Create international travel opportunities for athletes,
• Cross train athletes giving them a different perspective of the game,
• Create life long friendships.

Status

• Twelve Excel athletes ages 14 through 16 years old traveled to Germany to meet their German sister’s (July 2009)
• Established a Sister Club in Italy (December 2009)
• Twenty Excel athletes 14 through 16 years old communicate with their German & Italian sisters via Facebook and e-mail
• Excel Girls traveling to Italy in July 2010
• Excel International Challenge July 2010 featuring Italian and German athletes
