Jason Sears, Head Coach

 
Jason Sears is a Dallas Volleyball Veteran with 25 years of experience both playing and coaching the game at a competitive level. Jason competed for Stephen F. Austin University's Men's Club Volleyball Team in Nacogdoches, Texas. He continued to advance his skills by playing against some of the best players in the area as well as playing on multiple men’s open teams over the last 25 years. 
 
Jason began coaching at the Episcopal School of Dallas in 2000 and continued to coach there until 2007. His High School Coaching Career also includes a successful stint at Ursuline Academy with two State Tournament appearances in TAPPS 6A before landing at John Paul II as their Head Coach for this upcoming season in Fall 2021.
 
Jason started his club coaching career in 2002 with the DFW Juniors VBC.  In 2003, he began coaching for Dallas Juniors and has coached teams from ages 11’s through 17’s. Jason has high expectations of himself and the players he trains and looks forward to competing at a high level. Jason is currently employed at BSN Sports and is a father of two teenagers - Sloane and Brigg.

Lauren Hamaker, Assistant Coach

Lauren is in her first year of coaching club at Excel Volleyball Club and has approximately a decade of coaching experience overall including stints at Dallas Juniors, TNT Volleyball Club, as well as Texas Wesleyan University - where she also competed collegiately. 
 
As a player Lauren received many honors, in high school she was an all-district athlete two years in a row representing Vista Ridge High School in Cedar Park, Texas. She then went to Paris Junior College - a top fifteen team nationally for Junior Colleges. Her second year at PJC she was ranked 12th in the region in digs per set as the starting setter. She then finished her career at Texas Wesleyan University where she racked up well over 1200 assists, had a season high of 49 assists in a 4 set game, and had 12 plus double-doubles. Both years she received All-District Honorable Mention and made two Conference Tournament showings before transitioning to an Assistant Coaching role with the school. 
 
Lauren received her BS in Exercise Science and Associates in Kinesiology and is currently a medical assistant for a private practice.
e-Fit Sports Performance Academy - Early Summer
 

If your child/athlete is looking to take their training to a higher level this is the program to do it.  The challenge will be there physically but also mentally.   The academy will make your athlete stronger, quicker and more agile.  They will finish with a better grasp on training and will be on their way to becoming the athlete they have the potential to be! 

e-Fit Academy is a high level offseason training program with 3 phases:

Phase 1: Foundational Strength, Force Production, Mobility, Durability, and Stability.

Phase 2: Developing & building Muscle/ Strength, Pushing Speed, Agility, Quickness, and Vertical.

Phase 3: De-loading, Durability, Conditioning, Season/Play ready.

 

Ages:  14s-18s (girls & boys)

Level:  Intermediate to Advanced

Dates:  May 31st - June 25  (5 Weeks)

STRUCTURE

  • 4 Weeks 
  • 1.5 - hour sessions
  • 3-4 days per week.   Athlete's Choice, Monday - Friday:  8:00AM-9:00AM, 10:30AM-noon or 1:00PM-2:30PM

COST

  • $300
  • $30 for walk-in single sessions 

Ages:  14s-18s (girls & boys)
